Company Description

Beartooth Platinum Corporation, a development stage company, engages in the acquisition and exploration of precious metals properties with a focus on gold and platinum group metals in Montana and Idaho. Its principal properties include the Stillwater complex, a platinum group metals target, located in the Stillwater and Sweetgrass counties, Montana; Idaho Gold Properties comprising the Petsite, Friday, Deadwood, and Limpopo region, South Africa for platinum and palladium metals. As of December 31, 2005, the company had an undivided interest in 825 claims in the Stillwater complex. It has a strategic alliance with Premium Exploration, Inc. for the exploration of platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper, and nickel, as well as precious and base metal horizons at Chrome Mountain project. Beartooth Platinum was incorporated in 1988 under the name Consolidated Idaho Platinum Resources, Inc. and changed its name to Idaho Consolidated Metals Corp. in 1989. Later, it changed its name to Beartooth Platinum Corporation in 2002. The company is based in Toronto, Canada.
