Berkeley Resources Limited and its subsidiaries engage in mineral exploration in Australia, Spain, and the People's Republic of China. It primarily explores uranium, as well as gold, nickel, and base metals. The company's properties include Salamanca I project comprising two exploration permit applications covering 14,587 and 2,800 hectares; and Salamanca II project situated in the Arganan district of western Salamanca Province. It also holds interest in Caceres I, Caceres II, Caceres III, and Guadalajara I. In addition, the company owns a mining lease M15/664; 13 prospecting licenses, including P15/3355, 3357, P15/4334, and 4343; 3 prospecting license applications, which consist of P15/4528, 4529, and 4545; and an exploration license application E15/802 in the Nepean-Burbanks area south of Coolgardie in the Eastern Goldfields. Further, Berkeley Resources owns 100% interest in the Strelley/Kangan North projects comprising 6 ELA's totaling approximately 666 square kilometers, located about 80-120 kilometers south of Port Hedland in the central part of the Archean Pilbara Craton.
