Company Description

Canyon Copper Corp., an exploration stage company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Nevada. It owns the rights to acquire a 100% interest in three claims, referred to as the New York Canyon Project, which hosts oxide and sulphide copper bearing mineralization. The New York Canyon Property is located in the New York Canyon area of the Santa Fe Mining District, Mineral County, Nevada. The company was incorporated in 2000 as Aberdene Mines Limited and changed its name to Canyon Copper Corp. in August 2006. Canyon Copper is based in Vancouver, Canada.
