The Huvsgol Region consists of 3,201,658 hectares located in the Huvsgol Aimag in northern Mongolia; and Satyr Hudag covering 15,147 hectares in the Satyr Hudag area in southwestern Mongolia. It also owns Nicaraguan project, comprising 5 exploration concessions totaling 109,482 hectares. The company was incorporated in 1986 as Fortress Resources, Inc. and changed its name to Fortress IT Corp. Later, it changed its name to Fortress Minerals Corp. in 2004.
