Company Description

Gossan Resources Limited engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of resource properties in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. It has a portfolio of properties hosting gold, platinum group, and base metals, as well as specialty metals, tantalum, chromium, titanium, and vanadium. The company also has a deposit of magnesium-rich dolomite and a silica sand prospect. Gossan Resources holds interests primarily in the Pipestone Lake property located in north central Manitoba, approximately 150 kilometers (km) south of Thompson; the Bird River property located approximately 40 km east of Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba; and the Inwood Magnesium property that is located in the south-central Manitoba. In addition, it owns interests in the Separation Rapids Specialty Minerals project near Kenora, Ontario; the Manigotagan Silica property located near the shore of Lake Winnipeg, Winnipeg; the Sharpe Lake property located approximately 560 km northeast of Winnipeg; and the Alto-Gardnar gold property located in the Sandybeach Lake area of the Sioux Lookout-Dinorwic Southern Volcanic Belt, Wabigoon subprovince of northwestern Ontario. The company was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada.
