Matamec owns 100% interest in various properties, including Vulcain, Sakami, Valmont, Tansim, Zeus, and Lesperance properties. The Vulcain property comprises 103 claims covering an area of approximately 3,703.8 hectares, located in the Hainaut Township, Outaouais; Sakami property, located 80 kilometers southeast of Radisson, consists of 237 mineral claims and 1 exploration permit covering approximately 18,480 hectares; Valmont property totals approximately 2,036.17 hectares divided into 38 claims, and is located in Boisbuisson, Christie, and Duchesnay Townships in Gaspe; and Lesperance property comprises 179 contiguous mining claims covering an area of approximately 2,809 hectares. It also has an option to acquire 50% interest in the La Grande Est Property of Virginia Gold Mines and 51% interest in the Montclerg Property situated in Porcupine-Timmins mining camp in Ontario. In addition, the company holds an option to acquire 100% interest in the Canada and Durham-Gervais properties located approximately 20 kilometers west of Matheson in Ontario. Matamec was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
