NovaGold Resources also sells sand, gravel, and land. The company was incorporated in 1984 as 1562756 Nova Scotia Limited. It changed its name to NovaCan Mining Resources (l985) Limited in 1985 and to NovaGold Resources, Inc. in 1987. NovaGold Resources is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
