JSilverCrest Mines, Inc. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Mexico and central America. The company owns El Zapote project located in the Department of Santa Ana in Northern El Salvador; Silver Angel Project encompassing concessions of approximately 18,000 hectares located in the northern Sierra Madre range in the State of Sonora, Mexico; and Cruz de Mayo Prospect in Sonora, Mexico. In addition, it has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Santa Elena Project, located northeast of Hermosillo, Sonora State, Mexico. The company also owns interests in El Ocote Project, Arena Blanca Project, Opoteca Project, and La Pochota Project, which are under title issues, in Honduras. Its properties principally consist of silver and gold deposits. SilverCrest Mines was incorporated in 1973 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
