It also owns a 51% interest in Kafue Joint Venture project consisting of 3 exploration licenses covering approximately 2,200 square kilometers with zinc, copper, and nickel targets adjacent to the Kabwe Zinc Mine with BHP Billiton plc; and a 70% interest in Copperbelt Joint Venture project comprising 5 exploration license areas covering approximately 2,800 square kilometers adjacent to producing mines on the Copperbelt with potential for copper/gold mineralization with Korea Zinc Company, Limited in Zambia.
