Company Description

Uranium Star Corp. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties, primarily gold and uranium, in Canada and United States. The company, through a joint venture with Virginia Mines, Inc., primarily focuses on the Sagar uranium/gold property located in the Romanet Horst of Labrador Trough in northern Quebec. It also explores for copper and lead/zinc mineralization. The company also holds 100% interest in 19 claims of Ferderber property, located in the Romanest Horst of Labrador in northern Quebec, Canada; 69 claims of Workman Creek property, a uranium project, located in the Gila County District of Arizona, United States; and 100% interest in 19.5 uranium mineral claim reservations totaling approximately 150 square kilometers located in the eastern and northeastern regions of Finland. In addition, the company has 100% interest in Peter's Creek gold property located in the Cariboo mining division, British Columbia, Canada. The company was founded in 2004 as Yukon Resources Corp. and changed its name to Uranium Star Corp. in January 2007. The company is based in Toronto, Canada.
